Such is my level of skill that I worked 4 years on a 6 month contract with Volt at Rolls Royce Energy Division in Mt. Vernon, Ohio doing gas turbine packaging. |

| The units were usually Trent Jet engines driving generators, as in this case, or compressors. These are the same engines used in large commercial aircraft such as the 747's. Typically we removed the first stage and added a power turbine (which goes in the hole on the right side) to catch the jet exhaust. The generator, which would go on a separate skid and housing on the right side is not shown. |
